AlphaX perpetual contracts currently only support trading with USDT, therefore all trading fees are charged and settled in USDT.
Calculation example
Suppose a user performs the following operations in the BTC/USDT perpetual contract:
Execution: A 100,000 USDT market order is used to open a short position of 0.5 BTC (taker).
Limit order: A 90,000 USDT limit order is placed to close a long position of 0.4 BTC (maker).
The user's trading fee calculations are as follows:
- Trading fee for opening a short position (taker): 100,000 * 0.5 * 0.0500% = 25 USDT
- Trading fee for opening a long position (maker): 90,000 * 0.4 * 0.0200% = 7.2 USDT
