AlphaX Event Contracts allow users to speculate on specific future outcomes of cryptocurrency price movements. Each contract represents a "Yes" or "No" prediction on whether a defined event will occur. If the prediction is correct, users earn a payout. If incorrect, the loss is limited to the contract cost.
Users can predict whether the price will go higher or lower on the AlphaX app.
Due to user demand and regulatory requirements, the available trading range may be adjusted from time to time.

- Manage your event contract trades
(1) View open orders
Starting from May 1, 2026, order execution will be progressively set to occur at the next second after placement. The open price will correspond to the index price at that next second.
For example, if a user places a 10-minute trade at 17:59:59 (UTC), the order will be opened at 18:00:00 (UTC). The open price will be the index price at 18:00:00 (UTC), and the expiry time will be 18:10:00 (UTC).
(2) View closed trades (after expiry)
After the contract expires, visit "Closed" to view the results:
Open price: The index price at the start of the trade.
Close price: The index price at expiry.
Payout ratio and PnL: Your final trading result.
Trade time: The start time and expiry time of the trade.
(3) View trade history

FAQ
- What are AlphaX Event Contracts?
AlphaX Event Contracts allow users to speculate on specific future outcomes of cryptocurrency price movements. Each contract represents a "Yes" or "No" prediction on whether a defined event will occur. If the prediction is correct, users earn a payout. If incorrect, the loss is limited to the contract cost.
- How much does it cost to trade an event contract on AlphaX?
The minimum order amount is 1 USDT. Users pay the contract cost only, with no additional fees or margin requirements, making it a low-cost entry product.
- What types of event contracts are available?
AlphaX currently supports event contracts for price predictions in the following markets:
BTCUSDT, ETHUSDT
Due to user demand and regulatory requirements, the available trading range may be adjusted from time to time.
- How does the payout work?
If your prediction is correct, you will receive a payout. The payout will be equal to the fixed payout amount you accepted when submitting the order.
If your prediction is incorrect, the contract will expire and you will not receive any payout. The contract cost you paid will be counted as your loss and included in your daily loss limit (as described below).
If the outcome is neutral (i.e., the price index at expiry is exactly equal to the open price), you will receive a payout equal to the contract cost paid.
The payout amount for each contract is determined by the contract cost and the payout ratio applicable at the time the order is placed.
- How is the payout ratio calculated?
The payout ratio is calculated internally based on asset volatility and market risk at any given time, and may fluctuate. The payout ratio is fixed at the time of the trade and remains unchanged for that specific trade.
- Are there any trading limits?
Yes. Event contract trading is subject to certain limits to ensure a safe and responsible trading environment for all users.
AlphaX may adjust daily limits, open position limits, and/or price limits at its sole discretion without prior notice. Any downward adjustment will not affect existing open orders.
Any abnormal trading activity may be reviewed. If deemed necessary, AlphaX reserves the right to impose restrictions on event contract accounts at its discretion, including but not limited to placing accounts under a cooling-off period or suspending trading access.
- What are the benefits of trading AlphaX Event Contracts compared to traditional options or futures?
Event contracts offer a simple and straightforward way to express your view on an event. Unlike other derivatives such as futures or options, both potential profit and loss are known in advance. This makes event contracts an ideal choice for users who want to participate in event-driven market movements without the complexity of futures or options trading, or the need for margin requirements.
- Can I close a contract before expiry?
No. Event contracts cannot be closed before expiry. Once an order is placed, it remains active until the contract expires.
- How are event contracts settled?
All event contracts are settled in USDT. If your prediction is correct, the payout in USDT is credited directly to your USDT-M account. If your prediction is incorrect, the contract expires and your loss is limited to the contract cost paid, which will be counted toward your daily loss limit (as described above).
If the outcome is neutral (i.e., the price index at expiry is exactly equal to the open price), you will receive a payout equal to the contract cost paid.
- How is the settlement value determined?
The settlement value is automatically determined based on the price index of the underlying asset at the time of contract expiry.
- How can I use AlphaX Event Contracts?
AlphaX Event Contracts are available only in certain countries and regions. You can trade them on the "Event" page under "Futures" section in the AlphaX app. To ensure uninterrupted trading, update your app to the latest version.
Note: Users do not need to open a futures account to trade event contracts. Use funds from either the spot or futures account.
- Are event contracts supported via API?
No. Event contracts are currently available only on the mobile app (Android/iOS) and the official website.
